MEET STEPHANIE:
Stephanie Frumkin has enjoyed over 25 years of experience in the field of education. She brings her broad education background and advocacy training to her educational consulting work with clients. She earned both a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M.A. in Leadership in Teaching with concentrations in School Administration and Supervision and Teaching English as a Second Language.
Stephanie furthered her professional development by completing multiple advanced-level trainings: Special Education Advocacy Training 2.0 with Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates, Special Education Law and Advocacy Training with Wrightslaw, Master IEP Coach Mentorship, and the Summer Training Institute with Independent Educational Consultants Association.
She has taught in many settings including public schools, private schools, tutoring, homeschool co-ops, international schools, and community colleges. Additionally, she worked as a summer camp director, a non-profit education program administrator, and a homeschool umbrella group coordinator.
With her experience as both an educator and as a parent of a gifted child with learning differences (2e), she brings to her consulting practice a wealth of knowledge regarding the ins and outs of schools, best practices in education, curricula, and a sensitivity to families struggling under the stress of a poor educational fit.

After exploring a multitude of traditional schools and alternative learning environments for her own "out-of-the-box” learners, she decided on the path of homeschooling for four years. When her children were successfully placed in public and private schools, she became passionate about helping parents find and sustain learning environments tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Stephanie holds professional memberships in: IECA, COPAA, WISER, xMinds, and the GTLD Network. She was most recently serving as Chair of the MCCPTA Special Education Committee.
